Our Honor Guard does three ceremonies each Memorial Day. The first is at Rock Creek Cemetery, the second at Twin Falls Cemetery and the final one at Sunset Cemetery
Buddy Poppies are our largest fundraiser for the year. The main day is the Saturday of, or before Veteran's Day.
Coming home doesn't mean the battle is over. With over 10 times the amount of veterans lost to suicide than to combat operations in the same time period, there has never been a more important time to TAKE A STAND and DO something to support our veterans!! If you or someone you know is suffering from PTSD, we have people that have shared a similar experience and are ready to help.
Monthly VFW Post 2136 meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 1900 hours at 650 Addison Avenue West, Suite 203 in Twin Falls, Idaho. The next scheduled meeting will be on the 17th of November.The VFW will be hosting the Veterans Day Ceremony at Twin Falls City Park on November 11 at 1100 hours.Because of Covid 19 restrictions our annual Buddy Poppy Fund Raiser will not take place on the Saturday before Veteran's Day, the 7th of November at several of the local stores where we usually set up a table.
