Memorial Day Ceremonies

Our Honor Guard does three ceremonies each Memorial Day. The first is at Rock Creek Cemetery, the second at Twin Falls Cemetery and the final one at Sunset Cemetery

HONOR GUARD

Members from the VFW and the other veteran's organizations to Twin Falls make up the Magic Valley Honor Guard. We provide an Honor Guard at the funeral of every veteran whose family requests our presence.

Buddy Poppies

Buddy Poppies are our largest fundraiser for the year. The main day is the Saturday of, or before Veteran's Day.

Veteran Outreach

Coming home doesn't mean the battle is over. With over 10 times the amount of veterans lost to suicide than to combat operations in the same time period, there has never been a more important time to TAKE A STAND and DO something to support our veterans!! If you or someone you know is suffering from PTSD, we have people that have shared a similar experience and are ready to help.

No One Does More For Veterans
As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.
 

Announcements

Monthly VFW Post 2136 meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 1900 hours at 650 Addison Avenue West,  Suite 203 in Twin Falls, Idaho.  Our next meeting will be on the 18th of
February.
 
We will also be hosting the District 6 meeting on Sunday, February 23rd at 1300 hours.

Veteran's Recreation Room

The Veteran's Recreation Room is now open Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM. There is a pool table, a ping pong table and a library of hundreds of books available that any Veteran is welcome to take home and read and return when they are finished.
